Germany is ranked among the world’s top destinations for international students mainly due to its excellent quality of education, no tuition fees, promising career opportunities and above all the vibrant social and cultural environment. Moreover, Germany has many worldwide ranked universities, countless courses to choose from, greater mobility,globally valued degrees that promise high employability to you and affordable living costs. Every year, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports well over 100,000 German and international students and researchers around the globe – making it the world’s largest funding organisation of its kind. The DAAD primarily supports graduate and doctoral/post-doctoral students for their study and research visits to universities and research institutions in Germany. In some programmes, field visits and internships are also funded.
This Webinar was organised on 29th November 2022 with the following two objectives:
- To share information on various funding/scholarship and internship opportunities available for Indian students in agriculture for higher education in Germany and
- To provide more specific information to students on the requirements to apply, the criteria one needs to fulfill and when a call for funding is generally made.
